Nothing slows Jaron down. Even with a feeding tube attached to his body, he refuses to allow the disease inside him to affect his daily livelihood.
In June of 2002, Jaron was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and asthma. Since his diagnosis, Jaron attends physical therapy 2 to 3 times a day, a feeding tube is used to provide night feedings, and each year, he is hospitalized a minimum of 14 days. Yet, in his glowing eyes and his rambunctious personality, you would never know he's fighting a terminal illness.
His one wish during his Condos for Kids week: deep sea fishing. Thanks to Merrikohl Charters, Jaron's desire to fish came true. |
