From the playground to the pool to kissing an animal, you would never know she's battling a life-threatening illness.
Diagnosed in 2001 with Trisomy 21, Heart Disease, Asthma and Hearing loss, Hannah continues to be active as any child would normally be. However, since birth, she has constantly been in and out of hospitals. A tracheotomy was performed not long afterwards to help her breathe normally. In early 2006, the tube was removed and Hannah has been breathing on her own since then. |
